Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the epidermis and ridding the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Because dermaplaning is a quick procedure with few to no adverse effects, it has quickly gained popularity among cosmetic providers across the country. Using a scalpel and a delicate touch, the provider simply abrades the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes. This is a great treatment to offer to patients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation. It is also a first choice for patients who have excess vellus hair on the skin. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin. Although merely an old wives’ tale, many patients are often concerned that the hair will grow back heavier and darker after dermaplaning. This is not the case. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment. 15-30min treatment depending on skin.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 72 hour cancellation policy Late cancellations are a disappointment for everyone- for you, for me, and for the clients who are trying to get in for a session sooner versus later. Please understand that a missed session or a cancellation with less than 72 hours notice will be charged at the FULL rate of the session. Brides/ bridal parties require a NON-refundable deposit of $60 to hold the special spot; once brides/bridal parties are in the books, we require 100% payment, even if canceled. All weekend appointments require a deposit of $25+ that is non-refundable. For any appointments that require a deposit, they are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cancellation are not available. The deposit holds your spot personally and can not be canceled at any time once the deposit is put down. -1st warning. If you have to cancel within the 72 hours you will have to repay to rebook, and/or will be billed/ or auto charged. -2nd warning. You will not be rescheduled NO CALL NO SHOWS -Will not be rescheduled. And will be sent a fee of the requested service. Or automatically charged. LATE. -Clients late up to 15 min may still be serviced but will have time knocked off of there service. Clients over 15 min late will not be serviced. INDIANA APPOINTMENTS There are NO cancellations available. Once you schedule an appointment, you are in. If you have to cancel, you will be billed for Brooke's time. You reserved your time for you. BRIDES-check bride policy PLEASE RESPECT PEOPLES TIME! Thank you CANCELLATION POLICY BRIDAL POLICY Policy since 2011 BOOKINGS: To secure a date, we require a 50% deposit due at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a booking and deposit are received. BOOKING TIMES: Start time which will be approved by the client. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the over phone booking. All makeup applications for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time (NO GAPS INBETWEEN). DELAYS: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction; this is what a trial run is for to make sure everything is to par at clients expectations. Sample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of completed BB makeup application by the client is acknowledgment by the client that makeup is done to his / her satisfaction. A trial is not required but highly recommended. It is the bride's duty to book the trial. TRIAL MAKEUPS: A trial makeup is highly recommended prior to bridal makeup booking. A trial makeup run is included in all makeup packages. If you get a trial run and decide not to book that is considered a makeup application and you will be charged $50. When you get a trial run and decide to book that is included in the bridal makeup package, so you will not be paying twice for makeup. Makeup trial runs are not mandatory but recommended. NO discount if you do not want trial run. CANCELLATION: Bridal cancellations will be paid IN FULL once booked if canceled. SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair/ or high stool is requested. TRAVEL FEE: A mileage fee will be charged for .55 cents per mile from Hudson WI. The amount will be determined at the time of inquiry. (Gas Cost). Over an hour will be a travel fee and an hour fee- hour fee is determined on how large the bridal party is. The bigger the bridal party the less hourly fee. AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATIONS: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by the client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes. Parking is paid by the client. .55cents per mile for travel via car is required. Anything over an hour is an hourly "in the car" charge. LIABILITY: All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Brooke Fleetwood, its owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. PAYMENT: The final balance is due on the day of the event as one payment – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has booked in person or over the phone. Acceptable forms of payment are: cash, PayPal, NO CHECKS. SEVERABILITY: If any provision or provisions of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with any of the law(s) of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby. USE OF IMAGE: BB may use on it’s website – and / or in any brochure, flyer or other advertising it deems necessary – any and all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally or chemically stored media that is captured or recorded by BB and any and all of it’s representatives or agents. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes. Client(s) also agrees to release name and contact information of professional photographers and / or videographers used for recording any event for which the makeup artist has been contracted to do makeup. Client(s) agree to release to BBtwood use of said photographers / videographer’s photographs and recordings. IF booked over the phone please be aware of our policy for it is strictly enforced.
